We are sorry to report  the passing of Deborah Ferrante, daughter of Frances and Robert Luther, on passed away on August 12, 2016. Frances taught was a music teacher who taught at the Northport junior high schools. Deborah was 47 years old and the mother of four children.Condolences can be sent to:

We are sad to announce the passing of Hank Jennings, one time teacher at Dickinson Avenue School, on September 19th. He was waked at Nolan’s in Northport and interred in Calverton. Dean Peterson, former NHS biology teacher, passed away on August 31st, 2016 at his home in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Dean and his wife Phyllis moved to Florida after his thirty-three years in Northport, where he continued to teach biology for ten years as an adjunct professor at Florida Community College at Jacksonville (FCCJ).
