Sad News
Judy Bensimon, retired elementary teacher and long-time R-UTN Executive Board member, passed away on Saturday, April 26. Judy lived in East Northport, but spent her last months near her daughter, Nancy, in Stamford, Connecticut.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, at Gallagher’s Funeral Home/Shalom Chapel, 104 Myrtle Avenue in Stamford. A meet and greet at 10:00 a.m., with services beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial at Cedar Park & Beth El Cemetery in Paramus, New Jersey.
Condolences can be sent to Nancy Troeger, 1 Park Place, Darien, CT 06820. Information about a Memorial Service for in East Northport for Judy’s many friends and colleagues will be posted as it becomes available.

Solo Photography Exhibition
Pamela Waldroup, retired Northport High School Art Teacher, will be exhibiting a collection of her Fine Art Photographs in the Annex Gallery at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in June. The gallery consists of 3 rooms and a wonderful adjoining hall. Pam would love to see some former colleagues and old friends at the Reception on Sunday, June 8th!
