Madeline Porter, former Northport Middle School teacher and a beloved friend to many, passed away on Monday, May 18, after a long illness. A memorial service will be held at St Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Smithtown at a later date. Details will be posted as they become available.

Maureen Guttman — We regret to relate that Maureen Guttman passed away Thursday, May 7th.
She will be waked at Bruggerman’s on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Alfia Livaccari’s husband Dominick — We are sad to announce the passing of Alfia Livaccari’s husband Dominick – Alfia was a substitute teacher in East Northport Middle School in the 1980’s and was an active PTA member.
