If you have been a regular visitor to this website you might have noticed a name change for our organization. Originally known as the United Teachers of Northport — Retired (UTN-R), a vote was taken at our annual membership meeting / picnic in September to officially change our name to Retired — United Teachers of Northport (R-UTN). By putting Retired at the beginning of our name and the R-UTN acronym, it is easily distinguished from the United Teachers of Northport (UTN).

Our new name has been used on our website since its inception last fall, and it has now been made official. The webmaster contact email address is also being changed to r-utn2@optimum.net.
